Liability & Permissions

PAUSE & RENEW, LLC
WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND MEDIA RELEASE

In consideration of being permitted to participate in a retreat organized by Carrie Howard, Shelby Makowsky, and Pause & Renew, LLC ("Releasees"), including but not limited to yoga classes, meditation, workshops, excursions, transportation, walking tours, wellness activities, and other retreat-related activities (collectively, the "Activities"), I voluntarily agree to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participation in the Activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, disability, and death.

I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participating in the Activities and traveling to, from, and during the retreat.

MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in the Activities and have consulted with my healthcare provider as appropriate.

I understand that Carrie Howard, Shelby Makowsky, and Pause & Renew, LLC are not providing medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

I agree to assume full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred during or after my participation in the retreat.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Carrie Howard, Shelby Makowsky, Pause & Renew, LLC, and their affiliates, members, managers, employees, contractors, volunteers, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Activities, including those arising from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

I understand that I am solely responsible for my personal property and belongings during the retreat.

Pause & Renew, LLC shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

MEDIA RELEASE

I grant permission to Carrie Howard, Shelby Makowsky, and Pause & Renew, LLC to photograph, videotape, record, and otherwise capture my likeness, image, voice, and participation during retreat activities.

I understand that such photographs, videos, and recordings may be used for promotional, educational, advertising, social media, website, newsletter, and marketing purposes without compensation or further approval.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and release Pause & Renew, LLC from any claims arising from the use of such media.

If I do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, I agree to notify Pause & Renew, LLC in writing before the retreat begins.
